About Myers Park
A distinct place to call home
Myers Park is Charlotte's most storied luxury neighborhood — a tree-canopied enclave of historic estates, walkable boulevards, and some of the city's most architecturally significant homes. Developed in the early 1900s, it sits just south of Uptown and remains the benchmark for Charlotte prestige. Expect brick colonials, Tudor revivals, and newer custom builds on generous lots. The neighborhood feeds into some of Charlotte's most sought-after public and private schools.
Myers Park was developed by John Nolen in the early 20th century as a planned garden suburb — one of the first of its kind in the American South. Today it remains Charlotte's gold standard for luxury real estate. The neighborhood's tree-lined boulevards (Queens Road, Hermitage Road, Cherokee Road) are iconic. Freedom Park anchors the southern end with 98 acres of green space, a creek, and walking trails. The neighborhood is zoned for some of Charlotte's most competitive public schools and is walking distance to several top private schools. Homes here rarely sit long — inventory is tight and demand is perennial.
